I'm addicted to making ceramic stools I've made a mushroom, a tree trunk and a cheese stool. And what could the next stool be? Wait, why haven't I turned my iconic Grumpy Bao mug into a stool yet? This is such a full circle moment because a lot of you probably found me through my Grumpy Bao mugs. I actually model that in Rhino 3D before printing it out in the 3D printer and then making a mold in plaster so I can have every single mug looking the same with the interesting swirly patterns. But since I don't own a ceramic studio anymore, I have to do everything by hand. And by carving these swirls out one by one is somehow kind of nostalgic. And actually I'm really curious how many of you actually started following me from the grumpy kissy beauty. The bow design is definitely my favourite. But the thing is there was a big crack at the centre of the bowl stool. So yeah, I had to restart. But this time instead of throwing a gigantic dome shape, I'm throwing a bowl so I can trim it a little bit better. This bow is so cute. It's the biggest bow I've ever seen. Should I glaze it like the original one or something else?
