I've been asked if a DVD will play on my computer, considering I have a DVD drive and Windows 98 SE supports DVDs. I have a DVD right here, Phantom of the Opera 2004. I highly, highly doubt this will play or even respond at all. But we'll try it. This feels incredibly humiliating in several ways. Well, it's there. It's there. I would need a designated program that plays DVDs, but I guess it doesn't come with anything already. It says that it requires additional software. But it's still included, uh, the support for it is still included in the operating system. So it's possible you just need additional software. Considering how video plays on this computer, I'm actually grateful that it didn't work. It spared us of some. My HDD doesn't have enough space to store copied movie files, nor do I have any sort of converter.
