Australia has its first Patek boutique. @patekphilippe and @thehourglass_official have opened the doors at 388 George Street, almost four decades after the two first partnered in Australia. Inside: retail areas, celebration rooms, a bar, and a dedicated event space on the top floor built for collector nights, watchmaking presentations and the kind of gathering the brand has never had a room for in this country. ⌚ "Sydney has long been home to an engaged community of watch collectors," said Michael Tay, group managing director of The Hour Glass. Christoph Choi, managing director of Patek Philippe Asia Pacific, called it a significant step in the brand's presence in Australia.
