MANOFMANY PATEK PHILIPPE Inside Patek Philippe's New Destination Boutique: First Sydney, Now Melbourne Hot on the heels of the spectacular Sydney boutique's opening, Patek Philippe and The Hour Glass turned their attention to one of the most historic addresses on Melbourne's Collins Street. It marks another major milestone for a partnership spanning almost four decades. Fittingly, the new boutique occupies Professional Chambers on the 'Paris End' of Collins Street. Designed in 1908 by architect Beverley Ussher of Ussher and Kemp and listed on the Victorian Heritage Register, the building's beautifully preserved red brick facade and steep gables speak to the grandeur and heritage of Patek Philippe. Inside, guests are greeted by a demonstration of pure elegance. A cascade of hand-blown Murano glass hangs above the staircase void, its pale blue, clear and amber discs scattering light. Nearby, a carved wood artwork by artist Thierry Martenon, shaped around Australian imagery, gives the room a distinctly local voice. Visitors embark on a unique journey as they ascend floor by floor. The ground level is for discovery and curated timepieces. The first floor houses a bar and private consultation rooms. And the top floor is a dedicated event space for collectors and cultural programmes. Patek Philippe's stunning new boutique is now open at 110-114 Collins Street, Melbourne, inside the 1908 Professional Chambers building.
