But I'm just telling you if you're in the market for a Mason Pearson brush, which is an excellent brush, I'm going to give you an alternative. If you already have one, keep it, love it, enjoy it. But not everyone can spend several hundred dollars on a brush. And I wanna get into why this has a cult-like following because it is well deserved. And then what you can get instead. Main selling points here are a very specific mix of nylon bristles and natural boar bristles. Yeah, like a pig. And those boar bristles evenly distribute your natural scalp oils throughout the shaft of your hair, making it shinier and healthier and just better. And then you have this pneumatic cushion, which is wonderful for reducing the tension on your hair. You don't wanna pull your hair out when you're working on a tangle. Then the really big deal is the handle is hand finished acetate. That's really what makes it so expensive. But the handle doesn't do much for your hair. And if you want the hair experience, we can do that a lot cheaper. On the right you have the several hundred dollar Mason Pearson brush. On the left you have one that is under $40 and it's called the Denman. Before we go any deeper, nobody paid me or sponsored me. I'm just giving you good information. And this is not a blanket statement about any particular brand. I'm telling you this particular model 10 out of 10 for me. Not necessarily everything. Anyway. Same bristle mix, same pneumatic cushion. And genuinely as it goes through the hair, same experience. Where you do have a difference, and this is not a dupe, is that Mason Pearson brush is going to weigh significantly more, like 15 grams more. That's higher quality acetate for that. The handle on the $38 Denman is a lot lighter and just not as substantial feeling. But truly, I don't think it matters. I'm gonna link to both of them here so you can do your own comparisons.
