A few years ago, some of the biggest companies in Canary Wharf announced that they were leaving. Chance left, honourable left. HSBC are leaving. Why? Because a few years ago, nobody believed in this place. That was a big mistake. In fact, companies are fighting to stay here. Like Citibank, who bought their tower here for 1.2 billion pounds in 2019. Now they're spending a billion rebuilding it from the inside out, and they're not the only ones. Visa just signed a 15-year here on a 300,000 square foot office, moving their European headquarters here from Paddington. And then there's the biggest one, Revolut, just opened their global HQ here, directly facing the JP Morgan building, who are expanding to a 3 million square foot building, the biggest office building in London. And here's my view of the in the world billions space, you start listening. This is just the beginning. And if anyone thought it was busy on the weekend, well, this is a morning.
