Kat, we gotta talk about the difference between Polo Ralph Lauren and U.S. Polo Association. USPA has two people on the horse. That shit fake. But no, U.S. Polo Assn. stands for United States Polo Association. This is more about the sport of Polo. It's been around since 1890 and it's pretty much a merch brand of the sport of Polo. Like if you were to go to a Polo match in the United States, this would be totally appropriate. So USPA is "sport authentic". Technically it's not fake Polo, it's just like merch with people playing Polo on it. And honestly, it makes a lot of sense. So multiple people on it. Ralph Lauren = luxury designer. Founded by Ralph Lauren in the 1960s. This is a luxury fashion brand, not tied to the sport. Ralph just uses the Polo aesthetic to build this lifestyle brand. USPA = two riders. Ralph Lauren = one rider. USPA has two riders, that's how you know it's not Ralph Lauren. Ralph only has one. It's like very clean, very minimal and luxury coded. Quality-wise, USPA is more affordable and more accessible. So you know the quality is a little bit cheaper. Ralph Lauren = luxury. Ralph Lauren is designer, so it's a higher quality, better construction, so it's a higher price point. People mix them up because the logos look the same from far away and both brands have Polo in the name. But look at it like this. USPA is for the sport. Ralph Lauren is for the fashion world. So yeah, the USPA shirt from Marshalls is not the same as Ralph Lauren. Two different brands. Two different worlds. The USPA shirt from Marshalls is not the same as Ralph Lauren. Two different brands. Two different worlds.
