This stewed chicken and green beans is so simple and easy to make. You really don't have to do much but get everything started and let it cook for an hour. But guys, while so simple and easy to make, it is absolutely one of the most delicious meals you can make for yourself and your family. Let's get started on how I made it. So I started off with about 12 clean chicken thighs. Added some oil, added my seasoning blend, which I will leave on the screen for you. Give that a good mix. Then I went ahead and added it to a zip-lock bag and if you have time, let it marinate overnight for the best flavor. If not, let it marinate at least one hour. Then we're gonna go ahead and start searing. I put some oil in butter in my Dutch oven, searing it for about one to two minutes on each side until it has a nice brown crust. Brown color. Then we're gonna go ahead and cook down our veggies until soft and tender, um, probably for around 5 to 7 minutes. Let's add in one tablespoon of minced garlic for the last minute. Remove your veggies from the pan. Add in two tablespoons of butter, two tablespoons of all-purpose flour to work on our roux for our gravy. Give it a good mix until you have the color you want your gravy to be. And then go ahead and add in four cups of chicken broth. Give it all a good mix. And then we're gonna go ahead and add our seasoning back to the pot along with our chicken. Make sure you're seasoning to taste. You don't want to over season or under season. Add in our chicken. Make sure we get all those juices in there, all that flavor in there. Let's put the lid on and let it cook on a medium low heat for about 30 minutes. Then turn the heat down to low and keep it on a low simmer for the last 30 minutes. Now we're plating. We're gonna plate this chicken and gravy over our rice with a side of green beans. And this is easily one of the most flavorful, delicious meals I have ever made. My family loves it. There's never any leftovers when I make it and we probably will be making this about once a week. So if you guys try it, I hope you enjoy it. I know you'll enjoy it. It's easily a 100 out of 10. Thank you guys for watching.
