Some of the women who waited the longest in the Bible went on to raise children who changed history. 🤍 Sarah waited until she was 90 to have Isaac, the son through whom God’s covenant continued. Rebekah experienced 20 years of infertility before giving birth to Jacob and Esau. Jacob became Israel, father of the twelve tribes. Rachel endured years of infertility before Joseph was born, a man who would rise to power in Egypt and save his family from famine. Hannah prayed through years of infertility before Samuel, who became one of Israel’s greatest prophets and anointed David as king. Elizabeth was described as being “advanced in years” when she conceived John the Baptist, the man who prepared the way for Jesus. Not every story tells us exactly how many years they waited. But there’s something powerful about the pattern. The waiting wasn’t the end of their story. They prayed. They grieved. They hoped. And eventually, they raised children whose lives would impact generations. For the woman wondering why her journey is taking longer than she imagined, may their stories give you hope tonight. 🌹 #faith #fertility #over30
