These are the 5 hacks every lawyer needs to use. 1. Type *** in the CC line before you draft. Outlook won’t let you send until you remove it. So you can write the angry draft, the half-finished draft, the “I’ll fix this later” draft, with zero risk of an accidental send. 2. Turn on a 1-minute send delay. Rename the subject line when the topic changes. “RE: RE: FW: Project Falcon” tells you nothing in two years. “Project Falcon – executed SPA + disclosure letter” is findable in three seconds when the partner asks at 11pm. 5.
