If you're using Microsoft Outlook at work, you need to change this one setting before you next email. Look, we've all been there before. You hit send and realize, oh, I forgot the attachment or oh, I made a typo or worst case scenario, oh, I sent it to the wrong person. And we all know the Outlook recall function doesn't really do anything. So what if I told you that there is a setting that will delay your emails by up to a minute every time you send an email? Notice if you forgot the attachment or sent it to the wrong person, you can actually go in and edit and then resend. In order to do this, you're gonna go to rules, create a new rule, and you're gonna select every time I send a message, and then you're gonna go in and select defer delivery by a number of minutes. Okay, and then you're gonna go in and select the message by up to a certain amount of minutes for every email. Okay, and then you're gonna go in and select the message by up to a certain amount of minutes for every email. Now, here's how you do it on new Outlook. If you're using new Outlook, you're basically going into settings, you're gonna go into mail, and you're gonna select compose and reply. And then you're gonna see undo send. Set how long Outlook waits to send your messages, so you have time to cancel. Cancellation window: 30 seconds. You can delay it by up to 30 seconds. Not quite as good as setting a rule in classic, but still good. Sending in 30s.
