One of my favorite DIY masks when my hair is feeling extra dry, frizzy or just needs a little ✨something✨ before wash day. 🌿🤍 For this one, you’ll need: 🌿 ½ cup fresh pure aloe vera gel 🌰 2 tbsp jojoba oil 🍇 2 tbsp grapeseed oil ✨ 1 tsp castor oil Blend everything together until you get a smooth consistency, then apply it to dry hair. I like to focus mostly on my mid-lengths and ends, but you can also apply it closer to the roots if your scalp is feeling dry. Leave it on for about 30–60 minutes, then shampoo thoroughly (I personally shampoo twice), follow with conditioner, and style as usual. Why I love this combination: 🌿 Aloe vera adds hydration and helps leave the hair feeling smoother, softer and shinier. 🌰 Jojoba oil helps seal in moisture without feeling too heavy. 🍇 Grapeseed oil is lightweight and great for adding shine and helping with frizz. ✨ Castor oil helps lock in moisture and leaves the hair feeling soft and nourished. You can do this once a week or simply whenever your hair feels like it needs some extra hydration and softness. A little aloe tip: I like to soak it in water overnight first to help remove the yellow latex (aloin), which can be irritating for some people. The next day, scoop out the clear gel and blend it with your oils. You can also strain the mixture afterward if you want it extra smooth. And don’t worry if the mask separates a littlealoe and oils naturally do that. Just mix or shake it again before applying. 🌿 I love switching up my DIY masks depending on what my hair needs that week. Sometimes I’m focusing on hydration, sometimes softness, shine, frizz or scalp care. It’s all about knowing what your hair needs and choosing your ingredients accordingly. 🤍 #hairtok #haircare #longhair #aloevera #hairmask
