You can tell a lot about someone just by the type of dog they have. If you have a golden retriever, there's something to be said about a person who actually owns a golden retriever. I don't think I've ever met anyone that had a golden retriever that I didn't like. And I do think it's a personality trait. I have friends with them, people that I have made friends with online. They all have golden retrievers. You have to think, a golden retriever is a very family-oriented dog, like that's what they're best known for. Family focus. They have to be pretty laid back because they shed like crazy. They're literally crazy for the first three years. So you're gonna have to be pretty chill. Your shit's gonna get messed up, it's gonna get dirty, they're gonna chew on things. You're gonna have to be pretty chill to have a golden retriever. Fun and they're active dogs and they like to play and they want a lot of attention. I'm definitely not a relaxed person. Like I'm a high-strung person for sure. But when it comes to the dogs, they can do no wrong. I just love a golden retriever.
