HOW TO SHOP AT THE DOLLAR TREE

I'm an interior designer. How to shop at the Dollar Tree like a designer with a designer eye. Let's talk about three rules that I always use when I shop at the Dollar Tree. Rule number one is check your material. If you can find it in a glass or ceramic rather than a foam or a plastic, always go with a nicer material. Rule number two, always avoid things with bright logos and graphic designs. Instead, go with something more sleek where people might be fooled where you got your item. Lastly, be sure to check the weight of the item. Even though this is something that I love and I have in my own home, you don't want this where your guests are going to be able to actually feel and feel it. If you have something like that, you want to go with something that is a really solid, durable, heavy material because something like this is a dead giveaway that it's from the Dollar Tree if your guests would to pick it up.
