Luxury for Less at the Dollar Tree: Part 1, Entryway Table Edition 🕯️ The basket was $10, and while I wasn't in love with the wood tone straight off the shelf, that's an easy fix. You can spray paint it any color you want, or mix acrylic paint with a little water to create your own custom wood stain for way less than buying a new basket. Here's the thing about Dollar Tree hauls nobody tells you: you have to be willing to substitute. They didn't have a wooden bowl like the one in my inspo photo, so instead of forcing it, I swapped it for a fluted vase with a candle inside. Same visual weight, same warm feeling, completely different item. This is genuinely the skill that separates a good thrifted look from one that falls flat: knowing what to swap and why it still works.
