Recipe is written below because y’all are going to want to save this one. 👀⬇️ #fallrecipes #soup #soupseason #southerncooking #soupsunday @MacKenzie-Childs @magnolia @getgraza @Kinders RECIPE: Ingredients: -large white onion chopped -3-6 celery stalks chopped -drizzle of olive oil -1 tbsp butter -1 tbsp minced garlic -1/2 pound of Italian sausage (do more meat if you like it heavier!) -1 large 23 oz can crushed tomato’s ( I did the kind with basil in it) -1 carton of chicken broth -1-2 tbsp of cowboy butter seasoning -1 tsp crushed red pepper flakes -1 tsp salt & pepper -1 tsp garlic powder -1 pack of fresh cheese filled tortellini -1 cup grated Parmesan cheese -1 cup heavy whipping cream -freshly grated Parmesan for topping (Paired with crusty bread topped with olive oil & Cowboy butter seasoning and a Greek salad!) Instructions: 1. Finely chop your onion and celery and add to a large soup pot or Dutch oven. 2. Sauté & add your minced garlic. 3. Add in your Italian sausage and brown it. 4. Pour in crushed tomato’s and chicken broth. 5. Stir & season with your cowboy butter seasoning, crushed red pepper flakes, garlic powder, salt, and pepper! 6. Bring to a boil & add in your fresh cheese tortellini and boil according to the instructions on the package. 7. Once tortellini is done, lower to a medium low heat and pour in your heavy cream and grated Parmesan. Stir til melted. 8. Once finished serve with your favorite sides and top with more fresh Parmesan or any herbs you like!
