If I had to land a job in three weeks, I wouldn’t apply to more jobs. I’d change the way I was applying. Jaspreet came from a marketing background with no previous tech sales experience. She joined us on 22nd January. Three weeks later, she landed a £50k tech sales role. And within four months, she’d progressed into a position with £100k earning potential. She didn’t suddenly become more qualified. She didn’t gain years of experience overnight. We changed her positioning, her application strateg That week, I remember looking at your TikTok and being like, is this too good to be true? And then I went on LinkedIn to look for jobs and I was like, okay, SDR, BDR, this is actually a thing. I genuinely thought that break into tech was a scam before. I'm not even gonna lie. Because it sounded too good to be true. Like all of the, the testimonials that you guys were putting out, you know, this person landed this role in three months. And I was like, there's no way. But then once you start digging, the, these are real people on LinkedIn, these are real roles, they're real companies. Like, wow. It just sounds too good to be true, but it actually I was able to land a role in two and a half weeks, bearing in mind I'm a full time job and I also have two children. No, Jaspreet came from a marketing background. She's never heard of tech sales before. And of course she got in touch. And when she came to me for help, we completely changed her strategy and her positioning. As you can see by the screenshot, she joined the program on the 22nd of January. Just under three weeks later, she landed her first role. And now she has moved up, just four months later. And it wasn't a case of she just suddenly became more qualified. She just simply stopped blending in with every other candidate. We stripped everything back. We changed how she was positioning her existing experience, how she applied to roles, who it was that she was reaching out to, and most importantly, how she showed up in her interviews. That is what a lot of people get wrong. Always assume that they need more experience or they need more qualification. Actually, sometimes you just need a better strategy.
