My man and I almost gave up on each other because of these 10 mistakes (so you don’t have to) 1. We tried to win arguments. Now we ask: “What are we actually trying to solve here?”, “What’s hurting the other person?” 2. We expected each other to just know. Now we say what we need instead of testing whether the other person can guess. 3. We brought up old mistakes during new fights. Now, once something is genuinely resolved, we don’t use it as ammunition later. 4. We talked while we were triggered. Now we take time to regulate, then come back when we can actually hear each other. 5. We kept score of who did more. Now we accept that sometimes it’s 50/50, and sometimes one of us needs the other to carry 80%. 6. We assumed every bad mood was about us. Now we ask “Do you need comfort, space, or help?” instead of immediately getting defensive. 7. We let the little things build up. Now we have regular check-ins and talk about small hurts before they become big resentment. 8. We focused on what the other person wasn’t doing. Now we intentionally notice, acknowledge and appreciate the things they ARE doing. 9. We loved each other the way we wanted to be loved. Now we learn how the other person actually receives love, even when it’s different from us. 10. We treated each other like the enemy during conflict. Now it’s always us vs. the problem, never me vs. you. We didn’t save our relationship by never fighting again. We saved it by learning how to stay on the same team, even when things got hard. 🤍 Comment “LOVE” if you want more of the things we had to unlearn to build a healthier relationship. #secureattachment #healthyrelationship #feminineenergy #softlove #relationshiptips
