If you want to create a digital invitation that looks like this, this video is for you. I'm going to guide you step by step how to create it in Canva without any design degree. Right, today we're creating the very first page, the envelope. Go to create a design and select website. Now you need to head to elements and look for an envelope. There is literally a ton of different options in Canva, so just choose the one that suits the style you're going for. I'm going to add a bit of texture to my envelope. This is totally optional, but I just love the extra detail it adds. You can also put the drop shadow down so it looks a little bit more realistic. Now we're going to look for the wax seal and some flowers. Again, there are so many options out there inside of Canva's library, so just pick whatever works best with your design. Personally, I love the look of lace, so I'm going to add some along the edges of my envelope. Just like that. So I just simply duplicate the same element, drag it, and so it looks like one piece. But it is your creative space, so you can add as much or as little detail as you like. Now it's time to add some text, add the names of the people getting married and choose a font that suits the overall style of your invitation. We also need to include a little call to action like click on the envelope so people know they need to click it to open the invitation. You can also add the couple's initials to the wax seal. I think it's just such a simple detail, but it makes the whole design feel a little more personalized and special. Now, you can also add any background that you like. You can simply upload the image, select layers, and send it to the back. I actually love the clean and simple look, so I'm just going to stick with white. And this is literally our first landing page done. Now, let me know if you want part two where I'll show you how to actually create the invitation.
