So why did we take our kitchen window flush with the countertop? 👀 It allowed us to maximize the size of the window and bring in even more natural light, while still leaving enough room for sconces above. It also eliminates that awkward little strip of backsplash underneath and creates a cleaner, more intentional sightline. It’s a small detail you have to plan for early, but one that makes the entire kitchen feel so much more custom.
