A major breakthrough has been reported from the Upper Trishuli 3A Hydropower Project, where one person has reportedly been rescued alive from inside the tunnel following days of intense rescue efforts. Earlier Friday, rescue teams had confirmed hearing voices and establishing communication with more than one person believed to be trapped inside. Rescue personnel have continued moving deeper into the tunnel through mud, debris and difficult access conditions.
