Home Minister Sudan Gurung was seen assisting and coordinating the transfer of people rescued alive from the Trishuli-3A Hydropower Project tunnel, as arrangements were made to send them to Kathmandu. Sanjay Shah and Kabir Maharjan were rescued alive after days trapped inside the tunnel following the devastating Bhote Koshi flood. Their successful rescue has brought fresh hope as teams continue efforts to reach others who may still be inside.
