Why it worked
The video taps into a strong ethical concern about animal welfare in the food industry, making the vegan alternative highly appealing. The creator's personal connection to the recipe and the clear call to action in their bio further drive engagement.
Summary
The creator makes a vegan tofu benedict, explaining that male chicks are ground up alive in the egg industry. They mention the recipe is from their former vegan cafe and is available in their cookbook, which is linked in their bio.
Structure
- 1Introduction to the vegan tofu benedict
- 2Explanation of the ethical reasoning behind choosing veganism
- 3Mention of the recipe's origin from a closed cafe
- 4Call to action to find the recipe in the cookbook
Product placement
Saveg cafe (ACTS - creator mentions it was their cafe, implies it's a source of recipes, removing it would change the context of the recipe origin). Cookbook (ACTS - creator mentions recipe can be found in their cookbook, implies it's a product they sell, removing it would remove the CTA).
