I think a lot of people underestimate what stress is actually doing to the body... When you’re constantly running from one thing to the next, sleeping less, working more, or feeling like you can never fully shut your brain off, your body is working overtime to keep up and that can change what your body needs nutritionally. It’s one of the reasons I’m always talking about getting back to the basics. Eat real, nutrient-dense food. Prioritize your sleep. Move your body. Get outside. Give your nervous system a chance to come down. You may not be able to remove every stressful thing from your life, but you can do a much better job of giving your body what it needs to handle it.
