Tonight’s dinner was smoked beef ribs with creamy French onion potatoes 🤤🔥 Smoking meat is probably the one time hubby and I actually get in the kitchen together 😂 deciding what seasonings we’re going to try, changing up the flavours or testing a different technique to see how it turns out. It’s actually one of the reasons I invested in two different smokers for him. I knew it was something he was genuinely interested in, but I also loved that it gave us something we could do and learn together. Three years later and he’s pretty much mastered it, but there’s still so much we haven’t tried yet, and I love that for us. We’ve put so much into our outdoor cooking area too. From building the bottom deck to doing the decorative walls and slowly adding our smokers and BBQs, we’ve created a space we actually use ALL the time, especially through summer. ☀️🔥 Good food, a few experiments along the way, and something we get to enjoy together.
