Update! I was uninvited to a local influencer event today

I received a phone call from the owner of the brand today and we discussed the whole situation They (DWELL BY SAM ) happened to come across my post and immediately reached out to ask if I was referring to an event they had coming up because the dates lined up I confirmed and she was genuinely appalled by the interaction with the event planning company that was organizing the event Dwell by Sam immediately addressed the event planning company coordinator and to their shock, she continued to double down on her decision to remove me from the invite list I received another long winded message doubling down as well This event planning company runs two separate business Instagram pages and is a sole employee as well. She’s trying to grow her business leveraging the brand for credibility seemingly According to Dwell by Sam, the 2500 followers requirement was not something they had even requested Given how much this has blown up unexpectedly, I cannot bring myself to publicly shame a small event planning business run by just one woman. All I can hope is that she uses this as a lesson to treat people better in the future I will never attend an event run by this organizer I’d rather highlight the incredible response from DWELL BY SAM and showcase the way they’ve handled this once brought to their attention I’m very gracious and look forward to highlighting a future beautiful stay at their property we have been so kindly offered I don’t believe that I deserve or expect anything at all but the gesture is so kind What are your thoughts? #influencer #spillingtea
