"Must be nice to look like that and not have to work for it"

Someone told me at the gym the other day that it must be nice to look like the way that I do and not have to work for it. I saw this person that I used to see quite frequently, but after my schedule changed, I've been going to the gym at different times and so I haven't seen this person in quite a long time. And they were like, oh, you don't have to go to the gym, like it must be nice to look like that and not have to work for it. And I just paused, I like chuckled a little bit and then walked away because you don't know the first thing. Like this person has no idea everything that I have gone through and how hard I work to maintain the physique that I have to maintain the physique that I have. And that comment just rubbed me the wrong way. And obviously, like they didn't mean anything malicious by it, but it just really puts it into perspective that you have no idea what anybody else is going through. You literally have no foot to stand on to place judgment on anybody else because you have no idea what anybody else's journey looks like. To other people, it might look like, oh, I'm just fit and I'm just lucky that I look like this, but they don't see the years of hard work that have gone into it. They don't see the years of hard work that have gone into it. And that comment just rubbed me the wrong way.
