here’s what it’s like to live in an all ingredients household (for the bagel): - 75g strong white bread flour - pinch of sea salt - 1tsp baking powder - 1tbsp olive oil - 2tbsp greek yogurt (you may need more or less depending on your yogurt) - 1 egg (to glaze) - sesame seeds / poppyseeds / your choice! (for the tuna salad): - 1 can drained tuna (mine was 100g) - 1/4 red onion, finely chopped - 2tbsp mayonnaise - 1tsp dijon mustard - pinch of sea salt & pepper - 1 avocado - fresh cucumber sliced - extra virgin olive oil (to drizzle) method: 1. on a clean work surface, place the flour, baking powder and salt in a neat pile on the countertop. 2. mix roughly using a spoon but ensuring the flour stays in its place. 3. make a small well in the centre and pour in the olive oil and greek yogurt. 4. gather the flour from all around the sides and begin mixing on the work surface until you form a dough. (add more yogurt if it needs extra liquid!). 5. knead for a few minutes until the dough is lovely and smooth. 6. roll into a ball and use your thumb to make a hole in the centre. begin to stretch the hole and shape into a bagel. make sure the hole is large enough as the bagel will rise in the oven! 7. place onto a lined baking tray and brush with a beaten egg. 8. sprinkle with the seeds of your choice (i went with sesame and poppyseeds!). 9. bake in the oven at 200c (180 fan) for 20 minutes or until golden brown. 10. meanwhile, mix the tuna, red onion, mayonnaise, mustard and salt & pepper in a small bowl until thoroughly combined. 11. once the bagel has finished cooking, remove from the oven and wait a few minutes before slicing. 12. you can toast if you like but i prefer to leave it untoasted as it’s so fresh! 13. carefully spoon over the avocado and then top with the tuna salad. 14. finish with the fresh cucumber, a sprinkle of salt & pepper and a drizzle of EVOO… enjoy xxx🥯 #bagel #lunch #EasyRecipes #toast
