This is such an important reminder: **Breaking the cycle does not mean never getting triggered. It does not mean never snapping. It does not mean becoming a perfectly regulated parent.** Sometimes breaking the cycle looks like catching yourself sooner. Sometimes it looks like coming back after and saying, “I’m sorry. That wasn’t how I wanted to speak to you.” Sometimes it’s noticing *why* something your child does creates such a huge reaction in your body—and getting curious about what’s underneath it instead of immediately deciding you’re a bad parent. Because your triggers don’t exist in a vacuum. Your history matters. Your nervous system matters. Your current capacity matters. Your environment and support matter. And the beliefs you carry about who you’re “supposed” to be as a parent matter. **That’s why I created my 4-Pillar Framework.** If you’re triggered AF by your kids and afraid you’re going to wish away their whole childhood before you get it together, start with my **FREE “Why Am I So Triggered?” Self-Audit.** It walks you through the 4 areas I believe we need to look at when we’re trying to understand our reactions—not just slap another parenting technique on top of them. And if you realize you’re ready to go deeper, I have courses available to help you actually work through these pieces and start creating change. But start free. Start curious. Start with understanding **what the hell is actually happening underneath the trigger.** Because the fact that you’re repairing already means the pattern isn’t repeating exactly as it was. **You ARE doing something different. Let that land. 🖤** Free Self-Audit + deeper support are in my bio. #TheTriggeredMomma #cyclebreaker #selfhealing #innerchildhealing #parenting
