Let's compare an iPhone 16 Pro Max to an iPhone 18 Pro. Yes, I know it's a Max versus a Pro, but this is a situation that I'm actually in. I have the 16 Pro Max, and I got that for battery life. Well, now the 18 Pro has actually caught up in specs and battery life, so let's compare them. So first is the titanium finishes on your 16 Pro, and then the colours on the 18 Pro. So depends on what color you want. The screen is smaller, from 6.9 to 6.3, but you have the same type of display. You'd be going from titanium to aluminum, which actually will make it a lot cooler. And the 18 Pro has a vapour chamber. It will have ceramic shield on the back and the ceramic shield 2 on the front. The A20 Pro chip is a lot better than the A18 chip, with better G.P.U. and the dual core neural engine. Basically better for A.I. So let's look at battery. This is astonishing. Two years ago, the 16 Pro Max had 33 hours of video playback. And then two years later, the base. Not the base, but the smaller iPhone 18 Pro, the smaller one has 36 hours of video playback. So you're getting three extra hours for a smaller device. I ordered the 18 Pro instead of the Pro Max because I was very happy with my 16 Pro's battery and I'm, I'm so happy. Your selfie camera is upgraded. Even the rear cameras are upgraded, especially with that new variable aperture option. Both will get Apple Intelligence but note to self the 18 Pro can run it all locally where the 16 Pro just does not have enough RAM so it will rely on the cloud for some of it. The 18 Pro will have faster wired charging and you can get a 2 terabyte of the 18 Pro where your 16 Pro Max was limited to 1 terabyte. As for trade-in, Apple will give you up to $610. So if you have an iPhone 16 Pro Max and it was just too heavy, too big, and but you love the battery life, then the 18 Pro is actually a phenomenal upgrade. Like someone in my comments earlier said, a bigger screen doesn't equal an upgrade. Some people would disagree but just jumping two years and getting the smaller phone, you'll have you know it will feel better in the hand. It's actually a lot more powerful with the upgrade chip, the better vapour chamber, the it's back to aluminum, so it shouldn't get as hot. Smaller Dynamic Island, forgot to mention that. So there's actually a lot of upgrades with this. So yeah, I would say it's definitely worth an upgrade if you're ready to make the jump to a new phone. You don't need to get the 18 Pro Max to get amazing battery life. So if you're happy with your 16 Pro, Max. Well, you'll be even happier with the 18 Pro.
