If you have an iPhone 12, let's compare it to the iPhone 18 Pro and see what the differences are. First off, good job if you have an iPhone 12 because that is not a new phone and if you're still using that, good job. You had some pretty good colours with the 12 lineup where on the 18 Pro you have the burgundy, the glacier, the silver and the black. You would be getting an upgraded screen, 6.3 inches with a Super XDR display ProMotion which is 120 Hertz, always on display and a dynamic island. Both would have the aluminium frame, but you'd be getting the action button and camera control for faster access to photo and video tools but you'd be losing the ringer silent switch, upgraded ceramic shield and the A20 Pro chip which is just way better. And the big thing, battery life. 17 hours all the way to 36 hours. Like you are doubling your battery. Your selfie camera is gonna get upgraded to 18 megapixels and you get a lot of new features with that. So for the rear cameras you are adding a zoom lens and all your lenses are 48 megapixels and there's a lot of features that come with that. As well as that variable aperture. You get Apple Intelligence with the new Siri AI onboarded and you get the updated SOS features. And you'd finally upgrade from Lightning to USB-C and you'd get faster MagSafe. And if you have the base model of the 12 with 64 gigs, you quadruple that to 256. But if you need even more, you can go up to 2 terabytes. And for trade-in value, Apple will give you up to $120. So there's no question if it's a good upgrade. It is a really good upgrade. Everything, cameras, battery life, it's it's gonna be great. But question is, is it time to upgrade? The 12 is still supported and we'll get iOS 27. You don't get all the features 'cause it's such an old phone, but if you're thinking about upgrading then yeah, the iPhone 18 Pro would be fantastic.
