Candy can’t take this much longer. When i take her in my car she just passes out she is SO on edge at the shelter it is heartbreaking. She has been good with all people she’s met. She was a bit shy avoidant of men when she first came in. She’s good in the car and did great with the drive thru people at chick fil a had absolutely no reaction. In the home she is crate trained cuddly doesn’t know personal space and even has puppy playful behaviors with her toys and play mouthy. She is dog reactive and how shown at the shelter during playgroup she does NOT like dogs there. She is cat reactive. Shes smart and food motivated but she needs consistency structure love and training. Including her breeder, it seems she’s had 4-5 homes in her short one year of life. That is heartbreaking for ANY dog let alone a gsd. She is high energy. She is on anti anxiety meds at the shelter. She has not had a good history with children and did nip one and was noted in the next home she should not be with children. Candy is waiting at Maui humane society but she cannot wait much longer.
