🍔 The Charbroiled Trail - Stop Num. 6: Anaheim The trail continues at Varsity Burgers, an old-school charbroiled burger restaurant that’s been serving Anaheim since 1997. If you’re searching for places to eat in Orange County, CA, this longtime neighborhood spot has a drive-thru and a massive menu with burgers, breakfast, Mexican food, sandwiches and more. We ordered the cheeseburger combo and the Lumberjack breakfast. The breakfast was solid, but the burger completely stole the show. The bun was golden and buttery with crisp griddled edges, the charbroiled patty was cooked perfectly, and the fries came out hot, golden and crisp.
