Why it worked

The video uses a humorous and attention-grabbing costume to promote a product in a relatable, everyday setting (Costco). The "native mention" approach, where the product is integrated into a lifestyle context rather than a direct ad, likely contributed to its organic reach.

Summary

Product placement

Costco: APPEARS - a retail store where the product is sold. Removing it would change the video's setting but not the product's function. Neuro Gum: ACTS - a smart gum product that provides energy and focus. The video shows the product packaging and implies its use. Removing it would remove the video's subject. Neuro: ACTS - a brand name for Neuro Gum. Removing it would change the video's subject.
