Most of you guys know I'm from Staten Island but I don't talk about Staten Island too much. I don't talk about Staten Island, I don't talk about the things associated with this place that I do not want to be associated with and they don't represent me as a person. With that being said, we have a lot of amazing small businesses here. We have a lot of amazing people here, great food, great coffee. But there is a certain attitude and demeanor that is associated with this place that is not 100% incorrect. For that reason, I do not follow a lot of Staten Island creators. I find them annoying a lot of them because they make Staten Island their personality. That's fine, do your thing, but I don't need more of Staten Island on my feed constantly. I live with it every single day. I don't find it funny. Okay. I know I'm talking a lot, but I promise I'm getting to the point. I don't follow a lot of Staten Island creators, but I did follow this person and I liked them very much, like their content because they always keep it real. But there's a difference between keeping it real and being malicious and trying to tear down somebody's small business and hard work and the way they support their family. It's a different story if the owner of The Grind was not such an amazing, kind, giving person considering that he's given you so many free things over the years and you've ordered from them on DoorDash nearly 100 times. Was there a mistake made 100%? But that mistake could have easily been corrected had you called the store and spoken to the owner that has been so generous to you so many times. That video disgusted me. It's really just disgusting to me that somebody would try to do this to such good people. The owners of The Grind are such good people and such a nice family. That video disgusted me. Let's also remember this is a coffee shop and not a bakery. Although a lot of the dessert stuff that they have is amazing. They have probably baker cookies and if you guys ever had problem baker, you know they're the bomb. If you want great coffee, go to The Grind. I just posted them this morning. If you want great coffee from a small family-owned business that genuinely cares about their customers and will take care of you even if there is an issue. That video discussed me. This is why influencers get so much hate because instead of making a simple five-second phone call and saying, hey, you guys messed up my order, I'm going to go on social media and try to ruin all of your business. And hopefully, that wasn't your intention. And I know you don't give a fuck that I unfollowed you. But I'm making this video because it's really just disgusting to me that somebody would try to do this to such good people. The owners of The Grind are such good people and such a nice family. That video disgusted me. If you want great coffee, go to The Grind. I just posted them this morning.
