This photo looked like two boys excited for their first day of school. What you couldn’t see was a mom in survival mode. I was battling serious health issues. My husband was building a new business. Four days later, we lost my father-in-law. I thought I was failing as a parent. The truth is, I was doing the best I could with the capacity I had. That season is why Modern Mom University exists.
