Social Bean Coffee

Why it worked

The video taps into a common consumer experience and debate about drink customization, specifically the strength of coffee beverages. The creator's direct and relatable question, combined with the visual of the drink, likely resonated with viewers who have similar preferences or frustrations.

Summary

The creator questions the standard number of espresso shots in a latte, arguing that a 12oz latte should contain three shots, not two, to achieve the proper coffee-to-milk ratio. They express dissatisfaction with drinks that are too milky and lack sufficient espresso flavor.

Structure

1Questioning latte espresso shots
2Describing a previous experience with a 12oz latte

3 lattes should have 3 shots of espresso or am I crazy???

Transcript

A latte this size should come with 3 shots of espresso. Why are you giving me two shots, then milk, then cold foam? That's just a glass of milk at that point. Three at least, like two is just milky, it tastes like nothing. Three is the perfect amount of espresso for a latte. The other day I went to Wegmans and I got the 12 ounce, like the little baby one, and that had two shots. Perfect ratio. It was sweet, but it was also creamy, but it was also coffee. I don't want a cup of milk. If I want a cup of milk, I'll get a frappuccino. Three lattes should have three shots of espresso or am I crazy???
