YouTuber RedLogic built a simulation to answer one question, can Minecraft beat itself with no player involved? The answer is yes, but it takes approximately 1.975 billion years. The whole thing hinges on one absurd chain of events. First, an Enderman has to place a pumpkin on snow to accidentally create a snow golem, which took around 2,000 years in the simulation. The golem then heads toward the portal and provokes Creepers, whose explosions gradually clear a path, a process that took 2.9 million years. Once inside The End, the golems pelt Endermen with snowballs, accidentally destroying the End Crystals healing the dragon. When no crystals remain, Creepers have to explode at the exact moment the dragon flies past over and over until the boss falls. During the massive run, a single Iron Golem famously wandered around The End dimension for 18 million years before mobs eventually figured out how to defeat the dragon. After nearly a quarter of a billion years, the dragon had lost just 2% of its health.
