Whatnot
Why it worked
The video leverages the popular 'haul' format to showcase a unique, high-interest vintage item, creating a sense of authenticity and community around thrifting and sewing hobbies.
Summary
The creator unboxes a vintage quilt she purchased from a seller on the Whatnot platform. She discusses the condition of the quilt and her plans to potentially use it for a sewing project.
Structure
- 1Introduction of the package
- 2Unboxing the quilt
- 3Showing the quilt details
- 4Mentioning the price and purchase source
- 5Closing remarks
Product placement
Whatnot (a) ACTS: the creator says she bought the quilt from this platform, and the video is a haul from it. Removing it would change the context of where the item was purchased. RustAndThread (a) ACTS: the creator identifies this as the specific seller she bought the quilt from. Removing it would remove the source of the product.
