Xiaomi 18 Fold BEATS The iPhone Duo with Most Of The Spec Sheet The Xiaomi 18 Fold beats the iPhone Duo on most of the spec sheet, and it's cheaper. There's just one catch: you probably can't buy it 👇 📱 SCREENS Apple says 7.6" inside, Xiaomi says 7.58". But Apple's fine print says the Duo's inner screen is also 7.58" measured as a rectangle, so they're basically the same size. Outer screens: 5.36" (Duo, same measure) vs 5.38" (Xiaomi). Xiaomi claims up to 4,000 nits peak brightness vs Apple's 3,000. 📸 CAMERAS • iPhone Duo: 48MP main + 48MP ultrawide, with a 2x crop from the main sensor. Video up to 4K at 120fps. • Xiaomi 18 Fold: three Leica cameras. 200MP main, 50MP ultrawide, and a 50MP periscope with 3.5x optical zoom. Video up to 8K. 🔋 BATTERY & CHARGING • Xiaomi: 6,000mAh, 67W wired, 50W wireless • iPhone Duo: Apple doesn't publish capacity. Unofficial estimates range from about 4,700 to 5,400mAh. Apple rates it for up to 31 hours of video on the inner screen and 44 on the outer. 25W wireless. ⚖️ WEIGHT 219g (Xiaomi) vs 254g (Duo) ⚡ CHIPS Xiaomi's new XRING O3, the first phone to use it, vs Apple's A20 Pro. Too early to call. 🛡️ WHERE APPLE WINS The Duo is IP68, fully dust-tight and rated for water down to 6 meters for 30 minutes. The Xiaomi is reportedly IP59, which handles strong water jets but isn't fully sealed against dust. Plus iOS, iMessage, AirDrop, and years of software updates. 💰 PRICE • iPhone Duo: $1,999 (256GB), ships October 23 • Xiaomi 18 Fold: ¥10,999 (12GB/256GB), roughly $1,600 converted But that's a China price. The Xiaomi 18 Fold is only sold in China, and Xiaomi hasn't confirmed a launch anywhere else. So on paper, the Xiaomi wins. But for most people, the Duo is the only one of the two you can actually buy. Which one would you pick if you could get either? Let me know below. 🔔 Subscribe for more foldable comparisons.
