A smooth closeout starts with an efficient punch-list process. ✅ Before furniture, materials, or the client move in, every required party should have the opportunity to walk the job site at the right time, identify outstanding items, and provide clear feedback. From there: ✔️ Distribute one consolidated punch list to all subcontractors ✔️ Assign responsibility for each item ✔️ Track progress systematically ✔️ Bring the same parties back on-site once the work is complete ✔️ Secure final sign-off that the punch list is finished This process helps prevent confusion, reduces delays, supports final billing, and allows you to get paid and move on to the next project with confidence.
