nobody is talking about number 8 when it comes to the Cornell 7, but number 8 is the one person that walked in that room and said, okay, whatever the fuck is going on, we're shutting it down. And he was like, this is done, this is over, like this is fucked up. But here's the thing is there were 57 people in that Snapchat group message. Only one person went up there and at least attempted to break up what was going on. Of course, we all know like it didn't quite end there, but at least somebody did something. I don't know if this is the case of the bystander effect where everyone's like, oh, somebody else is going to do something about this, right? Or if genuinely none of the other men thought, huh, this is weird and this is fucked up and not okay. I personally, if I saw that message, I'd be like, what the fuck? Like, I don't, I would go in there and be like, what are you guys doing? Like, honestly, it's such a fucked up message and this whole case just, I'm honestly just like traumatized just reading about it, so I can't imagine what she went through. But all of those men, 56, I guess, because we have number 8 who was a good person, like all 56 people in that group chat, complicit, honestly, in my opinion. I, I will say if maybe some were still sleeping and I don't know actually if it was number 8 who did this, but I know one of them leaked the Snapchat messages and that's how the victim got them. So if that's another person, good for fucking them too, because this girl was let down by so many of her peers. And yeah, maybe they didn't know her like that well or personally or anything, but she's still a fucking human being and you're at Cornell, you should be really, really smart. Like you should be able to go, huh, yeah, that's fucked up, that's not okay. You know what? You know what? She's intoxicated. Maybe we should not be here, right? One girl hiding under the covers, four men coming in, no, that's fucked, nobody else saw something wrong with that picture. It's fucked up and these men should be smart, so they really don't have an excuse because they should have known better.
