I want to show you one of the best things I've ever seen on this app. You might remember the story from a few months ago of a house in Doncaster where they found 84 dogs living in squalor. And at the time, the BBC reported it as saying this is, this is not AI, this is actually real, because people who saw footage of the dogs couldn't believe that they could actually be living in conditions like that. Many of the dogs didn't even have names, they'd never walked on a lead, they were covered in feces, they were absolutely filthy. It was one of the worst cases of animal neglect that the RSPCA had ever seen. So lots of videos have been posted about that case and guys, I'm going to cry. All the owners who adopted the dogs from the video have been posting about them and it's, it's just like the best thing I've ever seen. This is Marnie, she's on the steps in that video and she's, now she's out by the sea, living her best life. For those of you wondering... this is our beautiful Jax. He was rescued from this awful house in April 2025. He had lived his first year of life in there. He is now the happiest boy ever. His life is full of love and cuddles, just as he deserves. I really hope this puts a smile on someone's face today. Lily was adopted from that house and now lives in Liverpool with her Labrador sister and mum and dad who love her very much. She's ball obsessed and she's recently learned to swim, although that's still a work in progress. This is Gary, um bonus points to any owner who gives their dog a really human name like Gary. He's mad as a box of frogs, uh but wouldn't change him for the world, they say. Uh he's still nervous about certain things but he's got so much better. Have you ever seen a prettier dog in your life than Gary? This has to be the prettiest Gary in the world. Sprite was one of the Spaniels rescued from that house. Uh she's getting her education now. She's got her junior merit award from Capable Canines and she's come a long way, says her owner, and that he's so proud of her. There's another one of the dogs, uh described as being slightly crackers. Uh I think you, you can get a sense of the, of the being a bit crackers just from the photo. Pepsi was one of two Patterdale terriers rescued from that house. Uh her confidence is growing everyday. Her owner said she's happy and content now, she loves her cuddles and kisses. Look at her out there enjoying the sunshine. And as for this little dog who stole everyone's hearts in that clip there, looking straight down the lens and, and just, oh, looking so pitiful. Here she is now, being an absolute diva. And I think if there's any lesson to be taken from that horrible case, it's to adopt. Don't go and buy dogs from breeders, don't create a market for more dogs to be bred. There are so many loving, wonderful dogs waiting to be adopted. So if you want a dog, go and adopt them because look, look how happy you these guys are now, having come from that horrible start, and they're all out there now, living their best lives.
