My very first one-legged Halloween costume was this partially eaten gingerbread man. Later I did this version, which looks super cool but is so hard to walk around in and completely impractical for wearing to parties. So, Cricut is helping me make one that's comfy enough to wear throughout the holidays. In the many years since I originally bought a two-legged gingerbread man and cut the leg off, I've realized this: my body has a unique shape. So does yours. And your unique shape can shape your unique purpose. That's true for costumes and also for life in general. I love the photos that people send me of their own limb-different gingerbread costumes so I wanted to create this new one, this time making it myself to show how easily you can adapt the cookie concept for your body. For this project I started with fabric from a pajama onesie I ordered online, cut the leg off, and now I'm using Cricut to make the decorations. I look forward to seeing photos of the adaptive costume you make this Halloween. And let me know, what costume should I DIY with Cricut next?
