So you're insecure about your under eyes. Don't worry, I used to be too. This is literally what my under eyes looked like last summer. Today, I'm going to be sharing with you what ingredients you should be using for your specific under eye concerns. If your under eyes look like this, puffy, fluid retention, caffeine and green tea extract, or EGCG are going to be your best friend. If you deal with dryness, flakiness, dehydration, you're gonna wanna incorporate gentle, hydrating ingredients like glycerin, hyaluronic acid, and ceramides. If you're dealing with loss of firmness, crepiness, thinner skin, peptides like matrixyl, arginine, and Retinal are going to be your best friends. Retinal specifically is going to help increase firmness over time by producing more collagen, while the peptides will actually help tighten the skin long term. If you're dealing with dullness or uneven texture, gentle exfoliants like retinol, Retinal, PHAs, lactic acid are going to help immensely. If you're dealing with sensitive under eyes, if your skin burns when you apply any product, you're going to wanna incorporate super gentle ingredients like panthenol, allantoin, ceramides. Cica slash centella asiatica will also be your best friend. These help soothe, calm, irritated skin, and long-term provide hydration. Now, this is for my girls with milia. If you get those tiny bumps around your eyes when you apply products, you want to avoid heavy occlusive eye creams. You want to focus on non-comedogenic creams and retinoids. Retinoids like retinol and Retinal are going to help gently resurface the skin, exfoliate those bumps, and using a non-comedogenic lotion will prevent product buildup into your pores, getting rid of those little bumps. If you deal with vascular discoloration, dark circles, caffeine is a fantastic topical vasoconstrictor, so that will help with the veiny discoloration. And if you're dealing with hyperpigmentation, ingredients like niacinamide and Vitamin C are going to help brighten that pigmentation over time. I've been able to drastically improve my under eye appearance this year by finding products that actually work for my specific concerns. Let me know if you guys have any questions. Bye.
