This isn't the 2021-2023 car market anymore

This isn't the 2021-2023 car market anymore. If you're in car sales right now, you seriously cannot afford to have a bad attitude in this market. I literally just got off the phone with a salesperson and that was one of the nastiest attitudes I've ever experienced in a while. And honestly, it reminded me of how different the car business is today. Because back in 2021 through 2023, inventory was so limited and the demand was so high that salespeople could just practically treat the customers however they wanted and still make great money. Those days are long gone. Customers have options now. They are not going to just be able to put up with the BS and the bad experiences when they can just go somewhere else. And having worked in car sales myself, I understand how stressful the job can be, but the customer experience matters. Because people might come to the dealership for the car, but they might leave because of you.
