This is your reminder that your body is not the problem. It's the clothes, how they're made, and the fact that sizing is inconsistent. AF. You guys have been asking me to come to Target to do a realistic try-on. We're at Target. Let's get into it. Genuinely, I don't know what I was thinking when I paired these two things together. They were hanging together on the rack, so I thought maybe they would look cute, like the black and the pink. This is like a faux leather skirt. Yuck. Why do they do that? The shape of this skirt is so weird. Too big here, but then it fits me fine here. This is an absolute no. She could be really hot, just not on me. I am so upset about this right now because this is a matching set. It's a skirt and a top, and I don't know what is going on with A New Day at Target lately, but their sizing has been so inconsistent and so all over the place. The top is an XL. Now, I am built like a linebacker, okay? I have a very broad, wide back. But this is weird because it's baggy here, but then where the cup lines, it doesn't line up with where my tater tots are. And then you have the skirt, which is also an XL, and I quite literally, and even if I could, ew. No. This shirt from A New Day is so freaking cute. This is an XL. They had this in a couple of different colors. I think this is like so cute and sophisticated at the same time. Paired with these dark wash jeans, these are Wild Fable, low rise, straight jeans. If you follow me, you will already know how I feel about low rise jeans. If you don't follow me, you're about to find out how I feel about low rise jeans. Low rise jeans are the best cut of jeans for the apron belly body type. I said what I said. You cannot change my mind. Do you see how flattering these are on the apron belly? Where is she? Someone send a search party. This shirt, on the other hand, is Wild Fable, size XL. It's got the flutter sleeves. This is genuinely so flattering. This might have to come home with me. She's so cute. I'm highly confused by this shirt, again, A New Day. This is a size XL. It fits, but like, I don't really know how. So this is supposed to work? Again, I'm built like a fridge. I have a very wide back, so like, this skirt is like a mid-length skirt. I don't really know how I'm feeling about like these asymmetrical seams all over it because I feel like it is exaggerating the lumps and bumps in the apron belly. This is an XL, though. That skirt that I just tried on that was a New Day, could not even get it zippered. This is an XL, and it's actually huge. I think she's so cutie. I just don't know that I love like this seam situation here, because I do feel like it is very accentuating and not flattering on Bertha. This just might be the most poorly made dress I've ever put on my body in my entire life. This is a New Day, size XL. It's loose here. These cups are not even, and I can't pull it down any further than this, because again, I'm built like a linebacker. I have a very wide back and broad shoulders. Like, what is this? This is horrendous. Let me flip the camera so you can see. I'm sorry. What is this cut? What, what is this? I'm actually speechless at how terrible this dress is. This shirt is quite literally the only thing that is coming home with me from this Target try-on today. So the next time that you're in a fitting room and you're feeling badly about yourself because nothing fits you the way that you expect it to, remember, Jillian said, your body is not the problem. It's the clothes, okay? Okay.
