THE VIRAL CHICKEN THAT HAS ME IN A CHOKEHOLD
Transcript
Okay, this chicken recipe has officially gone viral and at this point, I think my family would absolutely riot if I made anything else for Sunday dinner. I'm not even kidding, I've made this for the last nine Sundays in a row and we are still not tired of it. Now, since so many of you have questions, let's clear a few things up from the last video. First, the baking dish, wow, it is from Temptations. I had no idea you guys would love it so much. My mom actually gave it to me years ago. And second, yes, I know it looks like the chicken broth is washing off all that beautiful delicious seasoning, but I am telling you, trust the process, okay? It turns out perfect every single time. And for everyone that's wondering why there's approximately three pieces of onion in my pan, my brother-in-law absolutely despises onions, so I just had to sneak a few in there without him noticing. But seriously, there is just something about a slow-roasted Sunday dinner that makes the whole house smell so amazing. This chicken comes out so tender and flavorful, and it's one of those meals that looks like you spent all day in the kitchen. If you're hosting Sunday dinner or just want a meal that will impress your family, this is it.

This recipe went VIRAL for a reason… and I’m convinced it’s the BEST Sunday dinner you’ll ever make! 🤤👏🏼 I’ve made these slow-roasted chicken thighs for 9 Sundays in a row, and my family STILL isn’t tired of them! 😂 Perfectly seasoned, melt-in-your-mouth tender, and packed with SO much flavor! It’s one of those meals that looks impressive but is ridiculously easy to make! Ingredients: • Boneless chicken thighs • Salt & pepper • Garlic powder • Paprika • Italian seasoning • Olive oil • 1 sliced onion (I use less!) • 2 cups chicken broth • Fresh thyme • Cornstarch + cold water (for gravy) Directions: 1. Place chicken thighs in a baking dish and generously season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, paprika & Italian seasoning. 2. Drizzle with olive oil and add sliced onions. 3. Pour in 2 cups of chicken broth and add fresh thyme. 4. Cover and bake at 350°F for 1 hour. 5. Remove thyme and pour the cooking liquid into a separate bowl. Mix cornstarch with cold water to make a slurry, then stir into the liquid. 6. Pour the gravy mixture back over the chicken. 7. Bake UNCOVERED at 450°F for another 30 minutes, until the chicken is beautifully browned and the gravy thickens! And YES, I promise the broth doesn’t wash off all that seasoning. 😂 Just trust the process! All credit to @allyssainthekitchen for this incredible recipe! 🤎 SAVE THIS ONE because I promise you’ll be making it again and again! #SundayDinner #ChickenThighs #EasyDinnerIdeas #HomeCooking #DinnerRecipes
