iPhone Duo Large Crease - Apple said "wonderfully flat and smooth." Then YouTuber folded it 75,001 times 👀 Can you see the crease on yours? Apple says the iPhone Duo's inner screen is "wonderfully flat and smooth." Then the fold tests started. Tim Pan's folding machine passed 10,000 folds, and the crease got deeper. Joanna Stern had a robot fold it more than 32,000 times. AppleTrack found the crease looked more noticeable after just 1,000 folds. And Kuba Klawiter folded one by hand on a livestream, through a bag of dirt at 50,000 and a bowl of ice, until a line formed down the middle of the screen on fold 75,001. For context, Samsung says its foldables are built for 500,000 folds, and Kuba's older Galaxy Z Flips lasted more than 400,000. But it was one extreme test on one phone, and Gizmodo says you can't definitively call the Duo less durable from it. My math: if you open your phone 100 times a day, 75,000 folds is about two years. So Apple didn't remove the crease. It hid it. Can you see the crease on yours? Tell me below, and follow for part three.
