So if you used to travel in a bus, I want you to watch this video because life is like this. So now, if you ever traveled and you notice swelling on your feet, you sit down in one place, plain bus, and you notice that your feet is swelling, please don't massage it. This has happened, a patient traveled, she had swelling on her feet, she massaged it and in two hours she ended up in the ER, in the emergency room, ICU, fighting for her life. Whether the person lost their life or not, I'm not going to share it, but let me just tell you, enter DVT, it's called deep venous thrombosis. If you have that swelling in your leg, don't massage it because it is most likely clot. Now, if you massage it, the clots can break and enter your bloodstream and there is what they call pulmonary embolism, where the clots now goes into your lungs and obstructs breathing, or it goes to your brain and causes what they call thromboembolism. This information is actually, I will make more research on this, so I'm just saying this off the top of my head, this is what I knew a few years back. But people that travel a lot, they need to be aware of this. That's why most times you see people wear compression socks. But whenever you have edema, swelling in your legs, please don't just rush to massage it. Sometimes it's not about pain, especially when you are not just feeling pain in the leg. If you touch it, you don't feel pain, why are you massaging it? It is the difference between life and death. So please do your little bit of research on DVT, deep venous thrombosis. I'm going to make a more extensive video about it when I do more research, but this is just me saying off the top of my head because it was just something that just happened all of a sudden and I'm here to share with you.
